Scholarships

Opportunities for scholarships are found in so many places. Students may find scholarships in the following ways...

• Merit scholarships - awarded via college applications (based upon GPA, and at times ACT/SAT depending on testing policy)
• Emails from guidance office directly to the student (emails will come from Teresa Blair)
• SchooLinks Scholarship Matching activity under “Finances” - find scholarships specific to your demographics and interests
• Individual college websites (search under financial aid/scholarships) - can relate to program specific criteria, degree student is seeking, demographics etc…
• Local scholarships will be available in the spring - students will be notified in the spring, applications will come out of Guidance
• Community Foundation of Lorain County Application opens January 1, 2026 - OVER $609,000 IN SCHOLARSHIP MONEY GIVEN OUT to Lorain County students Click Here
