FutureNow - NRHS Career and College Fair
Our mission is to connect students with career pathways across all sectors—business, manufacturing, government, legal, healthcare, county services, law enforcement, fire and emergency services, the armed forces, and higher education—to create meaningful learning experiences and open doors to bright futures.
Our Future Fair has brought over 100 colleges, businesses, healthcare providers, and government agencies together to inspire high school students about their futures. This year, we’re excited to introduce FutureNow—career-cluster events during the school day, each with hands-on activities and workshops to connect students with careers that spark their interest.
It is the goal of the FutureNow events to ensure that students have the opportunity to explore their options to enlist, enroll or become employed and make the best decision for their future.
Wednesday, 10/8/25, FutureNow: Destination Healthcare
Wednesday, 11/12/25, FutureNow: Destination Military, First Responders (Law Enforcement, Firefighters, EMTs)
Wednesday, 1/28/26, FutureNow: Destination IT, Manufacturing, Trades, Apprenticeships
Wednesday 2/25/26, FutureNow: Destination Government, Legal, Agency, Finance, Sales
Students will be asked to attend at least one fair, but are permitted to explore all four. Each FutureNow event will present face to face to with our students giving them the opportunity to hear more about a career that has their interest. Students will then have the opportunity to break down into an even smaller group to participate in a panel discussion with people in their field of interest.
